"A body of water that remains unmoved for a long while stagnates, and its smell is unmistakable." - SR

Many leaders have achieved their goal and are comfortable with their accomplishments. "You have arrived!" The question is "How long will you stay?" Your length of stay depends on several factors including your willingness to continue learning. Changes in technology occur rapidly and have profound effects on the way business is conducted or even the way individuals interact with each other. The academic community is always seeking to understand, explain or improve various phenomena. Learning is not limited to a university degree or professional certification. It can also occur through observation, being mentored, reading and teaching. Yes, teaching. Knowledge is to be shared, not hoarded. As you share your knowledge, you increase your understanding and expertise on the subject, and you aid in the growth and development of others.

Are you a perpetual learner, or have you arrived at 'destination complacency'? How have you been keeping yourself up-to-date on changes in your industry? How have you personally grown in the past week?
